My sentiments exactly. Dario could have purpose (as an unlikable bad guy), but Eduardo is useless.

Me, too, on both counts.

At this point only one I want gone is Eduardo. I think there could be a purpose for Dario and I like the other two.

Hate Gabi and Dario !! Get rid of them please! If the new assoc writer created all those great stories and characters of the 80s and 90s, am stoked! As for Ron , I am excited. I am in the minority that I loved the "Fluke" sl on GH. That whole arc go me watching GH.

I don't feel they all need to leave, but I can rank in order from "keep " to " could care less "

1) Gaby. I love her to be honest. I don't think she needs to be with Chad, but I she's a keep.

2) Rafe. I mean I like Rafe, I like Hope being with a good guy cop, but I don't feel big chemistry. It's not bad, just medium.

3) Dario. Astheticlly he, & his grey collarless leather jacket always look great. Probably one of the best looking actors on the show, but his story is so meh. If you can find him a love interest that really is off the charts chemistry then keep, otherwise cut.

4) Sorry A. Martinez, I have great memories of being in 1st grade & sneak watching Santa Barbara with Cruz, & Eden at a friends house til my friends mom called mine & ratted me out! Ha ha unfortunately I want this show around for as long as possible, & Eduardo, & the Billy goat chin pubes just ain't cuttin it. Adios Eduardo

Haha thanks! She didn't, but she did call all my friends moms after to make sure they knew I wasn't allowed to watch. She did eventually let me watch Days a couple years later with her during the summers, & she claims it was because there was a brother/sister rape story on SB that she didn't want me watching, but I think it was partly an excuse for embarrassing me so much hehe.

Fellow Santa Barbara fan here. My mom was actually the exact opposite of yours in that she had no problem with me watching soaps and was the one who got me hooked on Days (I was 8 when I regularly watched but did watch some scenes at a younger age). She might tell me to look away during the racier love scenes, but that was the extent of her censorship so to speak. Yeah the brother/sister rape storyline on SB was a turn-off. I think they were step-siblings, but still gross. Fun fact: The actress who played the sister was Tricia Cast, who would have a long run as Nina on Y&R.

I think Rafe and Gabi are safe. And while Gabi can be a bit annoying sometimes, I don't dislike her and Camila Banus has improved as an actress. I think Dario is safe for the short-term in that it looks like we're getting a Dario/Abby/Chad/Gabby quadrangle and I don't think Ron will jettison that right away. I agree Dario is kinda hot and a decent actor, but the character is all over the place and hard to like most of the time. So that leaves Eduardo. As much as I like A Martinez, Eduardo just hasn't worked for the show. And A put himself on recurring last year. So I wouldn't be surprised if the show and A decide to cut their losses and Eduardo is written out shortly after Ron takes over.

OH so funny, we have such a similar viewing history, ( minus the early SB mom shaming hahaha ). I will say though that what it progressed to was that during summers my brother, & I would be out swimming, or playing with friends, but we were allowed to come in for lunch, & sit quietly in the air conditioning, & watch Days. We always took the offer, & eventually our mom did let us stay in for SB, & another worl which was in between the 2 then, but that took some years;)

I've grown to like Dario. He's the only one who doesn't act like a zombie. Put him with Abby in a torrid romance. Then Chad can get busy with Gabi. Bring back Eduardo's wife, and let them be a couple. Just keep Rafe behind his desk and put Hope with someone more suitable anyone.

I would like it if ALL the Hernandez' left! I like Gaby but don't care for her storyline. Rafe is and will alwayd be a big Snoozefest to me. What a boring guy! Dario is a thug! Mr. Hernandez is more boring than Rafe, I see where Rafe gets it from! I FF through most of their stuff!

My whole issue with the Hernandez clan is this: Rafe came to the show as a solo character, and they made it VERY clear during all those months he was in the safe house with Sami that he WAS AN ORPHAN!

Now we have had 3 siblings, one of whom is dead and the other two have been written off the show and recast at least once each, a mother who was never seen then showed up, then disappeared, and a dead beat dad that now suddenly has all this money to compete in a crime syndicate with the wealthy DiMera and Kiriakis families.

Rafe is such a dumb, dull bore!!! I can't stand him! I loathe Hope too but I really can't stand Rafe and Hope together.

Gabi is a bitching harpy! Any time someone disagrees with her she gets all attitudy. I have never liked her. Like she was actually upset that Julie had a problem with her killing her cousin. Well duh!

And Eduardo and Dario are boring and useless too.

I'm sorry but I don't care about this family. I would rather they bring in Mike and Bill Horton, Andrew Donovan, Stephanie Johnson, Philip (JKJ!), Billie Reed, Chelsea evenlike anyone other than this loser family.

I don't mind Eduardo or Gabi, but I wouldn't miss them. Rafe and Dario have got to go. I have never understood the writer's love for Rafe when the fact is he is dull as dirt. I have never thought he has ever had chemistry with anyone he's ever been paired with and Hope is by far the worst. It is about as believable to me that those two are in love as it is that the sky is pink? Not to mention the fact that Rafe was married to Hope's niece, that a little to incestuous for my taste.

I really can't stand Dario. I don't understand how some people seem to find him charming or interesting. To me he just comes off as mean. He's always complaining about something, he's never happy, and I despise how Dario went on for so long about how Eduardo wasn't worth a lick and didn't deserve to be with his family because he was a killer, and as soon as there is money on the line, what does Dario do? He tries to murder someone in cold blood. Not to mention the fact that in process of trying to prove Eduardo was dangerous, Dario actually got Gabi attacked. Yuck. I can forgive people for a lot of things, but I hate a hypocrite.

I'd be happy to never see or hear from the Hernandez brothers again.

Sorry, but what about Lucas and Austin, who were both married to Sami and Carrie? Nicole who has been married to both Brady and his grandfather Victor? Belle was married to both Shawn Douglas and his uncle Philip. Doug and Julie are related however they're related and then got married

The entire show is incestuous. I hope Rafe being with Hope is not what just now sent you over the edge. Sami and Hope aren't even related by blood.

Actually the whole Doug and Julie thing has always really bothered me. The rest of them are brothers and sisters swapping partners, that's common place in soaps. The fact is the fact that Rafe was married to Hope's niece is just one thing I don't like about their relationship. The fact is I really don't like Rafe.
