The Brady Bunch : Did You Hate When Marcia Got Mad At Her Siblings Over Little Things?

Did You Hate When Marcia Got Mad At Her Siblings Over Little Things?

like getting mad at Cindy over the diary being lost, got mad that Greg is getting his own room in the attic etc.

Re: Did You Hate When Marcia Got Mad At Her Siblings Over Little Things?

It was consistent with her character. Like when Marcia got mad at Alice for her telling Carol who was last using the stereo. (Marcia forgot to turn it off and left it on overnight.)

Just think of what Marcia would be like as an adult-- a total b!tch.

Re: Did You Hate When Marcia Got Mad At Her Siblings Over Little Things?

I think that deep down, Marcia realized that her peak years were in middle and high school. That's why she had to make the most of them with her display of awards and her Senior Banquet Niiight--because it was all downhill from there.
She could see how her future was going to be when Jan beat her out for the ice cream parlor job using ambition and hard work; the adult world respected those qualities more than they did teenage perkiness. Her wildest dream of adulthood
involved marrying a financially successful dentist, and that was about it. She knew she had to be as greedy about her childhood happiness as she could, even at the expense of walking all over everyone else.

I'm not crying, you fool, I'm laughing!

As an adult, she ended up with an unemployed husband and being years out of touch in the fashion field she used to work in.

She always reminded me of one of those women at the bar you never could talk to you because you could never pass her test.
