True, but I guess George was the first name that popped into her head. She had to act fast when her family asked so she glanced around her room, and there was a glass on the night stand, so. It made sense given the little she had to work with. If she had been in a different room, maybe she'd have chosen something else.

George Lampshade? How about Wally Hairbrush? If she looked in Marcia's nightstand, she may have said Steeley Dan.

Steely Dan!

Hack Stone, that was a good one!

How about Van Sneakers, Sandy Birkenstocks, Thom McKann?

Re: Other names Jan could've given George Glass

you know, I had a situation like this, when I was about Jan's age in this episode. My cousin always had some boyfriend, and I didn't and felt like the biggest loser, lol I swear I was like 12 or 13 for crying out loud. But I lied and told her I did. And she asked me his name and I said Tom Swift. lol. I was thinking about Swift premium franks or something. The ads were big in the 70s.

I remember she laughed and said Tom SWIFT? Oh man. lol. What a dork I was. :)

Ah... the guy who would go on to invent the "Swiffer".

I used to know a guy named Montgomery Ward

Re: Other names Jan could've given George Glass

If Jan was older and The Bunch wasn't so wholesome she could have named her fictitious boyfriend Bob. B.O.B. stands for battery operated boyfriend.
