Audio Equipment and Home Theater Audio : Cassette to PC in the UK
Re: Cassette to PC in the UK
Buy a good home cassette player at a thrift store and plug it into a decent sound card. The results can quite tolerable, and in the case of cassette only releases, how else are you going to listen to them in the future?
Re: Cassette to PC in the UK
been looking into converting all my dusty old cassettes into the 21st Century. Some reviews are positive, some say it's a waste of time.
You can get special cassette players who can do that all in one:
TEAC AD-800, cassette to USB flashdrive copy
TEAC AD-RW900, cassette to USB flashdrive or CD-R/CD-RW or direct to PC if you want to.
Two cassette players who also is a huge help to those who wants to digitalize all their old vinyl records.
Re: Cassette to PC in the UK
If you already have a cassette player with a headphone jack and plug it into your microphone jack on your PC with a male to male jack lead, and use a program like Audacity to record it.
The world is your lobster.
The world is your lobster.
Cassette to PC in the UK
Negatives - takes too long, too expensive, batteries die before conclusion
Positives - can convert/ create new playlists / burn to cds, clean up
Anyone got any feedback / advice regarding this issue?
