i would have been 15. I read the blurb in the tv mag and thought it sounded good - little did i know it would become my fave film! Unfortunately the first time i missed about the first 10 mins (didn't come in until Andie and Iona are talking about going to the prom in Trax). It must have been about 2 years before i saw it from the beginning.

I saw it at the theater when it came out. I was on a date with my finance, I was 16 1/2, pregnant with my first child and was going to get married in a few months. Now I am almost 43, married to that same wonderful man for 26 years. That baby is now 25 with two beautiful children of her own! This movie brings back good memories.

This movie was made the year i was BORN hahaim a youngin, but i prolly saw it when i was in Middle Schooli JUST DvR'd it over the wknd haha love the moviethe ending gets me everytimeLOVE IT!!

I saw in sometime in the 80s, probably around 1988. I was 6 years old and I hated Molly Ringwald back then, which probably had to do with the fact that I disliked her in The Breakfast Club.

Yea,thats a good scene.As for what age I was when I saw it I would guess 12 or 13 yrs old.I was born January 7th 1974.So I guess thats right.I saw it at a little twin cinema here in town.

Embarrassing as it is for an '80s geek like myself, I didn't see Pretty In Pink for the first time till I was 19, and even then, I just watched it on a whim because I was lonely and bored one rainy Saturday afternoon in the summer and it just happened to be on TV.

I love this movie, though!! I watched it that first time and I absolutely adored it!! I have the DVD and I just watched it again last night. Ahh, brings me back to high school, too, but in a good way.

*insert nostalgia here*

Anyone else find that this movie reminds them of high school, too?? Or at least of simpler times when you were younger??
