The Sergeant : Kiss The Sergeant

Kiss The Sergeant

I (think) remember that this move may have had the first male/male kiss. Was that possible in the 60's?? Does anyone remember seeing that or is it another foggy memory of a child of the 60's?

Re: Kiss The Sergeant

Yeah, there was a male-male kiss, but I don't know whether it was the first or not. In what context, I guess you'd have to ask? In what timeframe?)

But then, the kiss was almost rape, desperate and angry. It wasn't affectionate, so does it count as an open expression? I'm not sure.

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.

Re: Kiss The Sergeant

As I recall, it was an attempted kiss. Swanson resited him. Maybe the Seregeant forced his lips on Sanson's, but there was no kiss.

The movie was about desruction of the hero from within by his repressed desires at odds with his view of himself.
