Seen in an episode (not nec. from 1973) is a very large mast in the background during one of their (Foggy, Clegg, Compo) country walks. Would this be the Emley Moor Transmitting Station?

I have a feeling that is probably right. In at least one of the country scenes they managed to capture a wonderful rainbow.
