Charlie Countryman : I thought it was alright.

But the main thing for me was the soundtrack, it was a-mazing. I can't wait to get my hands on it and pop onto my iPod!!! I also loved the overall vibe of the movie.

Its crap, utter crap.
God-awful screenplay, horrid acting from all involved(yes, even from Mads),silly 80's sequence pop music montage, extremely predictable ending. There's nothing worst than a movie who thinks its so cool and isn't.

I respect your opinion and I'm happy you loved the movie, I wish I did too but I didn't, it was badly written, incredibly amateurish direction, predictable and pointless, an unfortunate sad, wasted opportunity, It's like watching the travel video of the most annoying guy you know, a thoroughly queasy pastiche of wanna be magic-realism enraptured with emo-ness nonsense.
It's not just that it's a bad movie, it's a movie of jaw-dropping awfulness.

how does that imply I need to get over myself? We all have different opinions that's all. Just to end on a positive note, Bucharest does gets to show itself off quite nicely.

I just saw this film and decided to see what other people thought of it (I thought it was alright - didn't love or hate it), but holy hot dicks this post is like a greatest hits of the rotten tomatoes critics. It's got to be the least imaginative, most plagiarised post I've ever seen.

I did think the movie was pretty alright. I thought Shia LeBeouf was actually kind of likeable for a change, and it had some good moments even if generally it was pretty pedestrian story. It really captures the feeling of travelling to a strange, new city.

As for the soundtrack, it always seems more economical to download the songs you like then to buy a whole soundtrack anyway. I agree though the soundtrack was definitely an asset to the film.

I agree the score/soundtrack was amazing - Christophe Beck, Dead Mono did the original scores; Moby composed a new songs too; the sountrack was also amazing, with M83 and Arno Cost's remix of Moby.

I'm crazy to listen to the track playing when Charlie arrives in Bucharest, it's amazing, I think it's by Dead Mono. Can't wait for the CD release.

This world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those that feel.

Shia was great in this, the soundtrack was also good.
