Grease : QUESTION: "Nobody's jugs are bigger than Annette's"

QUESTION: "Nobody's jugs are bigger than Annette's"

who was Kenickie talking about, was she in the film, hana!?

Re: QUESTION: "Nobody's jugs are bigger than Annette's"

The most popular answers is Annette Funicello. Who at the time this movie took place in 1959 had just finished being part of the Mickey Mouse Club and into other TV & film roles. SHe was rather well endowed.

Re: QUESTION: "Nobody's jugs are bigger than Annette's"

Annette Funicello as it was set in 1959. If it were set to 2016 for example, "Kim" would be used in the same fashion (Kim Kardashian).

Re: QUESTION: "Nobody's jugs are bigger than Annette's"

I always assumed it was some girl from their school that was hard to get but she had big jugs, but it could have very well been the actress. Her name was also mentioned during "Sandra Dee." "Get Your Filthy Paws, off my silky drawers. Would you pull that crap if I was, Annette?"

Re: QUESTION: "Nobody's jugs are bigger than Annette's"

Correction: "Would you pull that crap WITH Annette?"

Re: QUESTION: "Nobody's jugs are bigger than Annette's"

It's definitely a reference to Annette Funicello. Not only did the movie take place in the late 50s, but it was very much a homage to that time period and mentioned or featured many of the fads, films, songs and celebrities of era.

Re: QUESTION: "Nobody's jugs are bigger than Annette's"

If you listen to the audio commentary on the DVD or Blu-ray, Randal Kleiser (The Director of Grease) mentions it is indeed a reference to Annette Funicello. I think a lot of people already understood this but its nice to 100% verify straight from the director.

Re: QUESTION: "Nobody's jugs are bigger than Annette's"

Re: QUESTION: "Nobody's jugs are bigger than Annette's"
