The Funhouse : IS this the movie im thinking of

I remmber watching a movie on usa (not up all night) but around the same time that the hitchiker show was on. I know its about kids in a fun house, that get murdered the only part i remember is a girl is going to slide down into a ball pit type area, but somebody put a lock on the door, and she broke her neck. is this the movie i am thinking of

Nope, no slides or ball pits, but the movie you're describing sounds awesome.

I remember seeing this movie when i was young. I just cant remember anything except for one thing. I remember seeing a girl that was standing randomly then all of a sudden she falls through a hole. she was actually standing on a platform or sumthing. Sucks that my movie store doesnt have this movie. I looked everywhere. I'm not sure tho. I also remember a guy that was fighting with the monster then a platform turns around then around again showing the man dead with a sword through his belly. Im just spitballing here.

did you ever find out what the name of the movie is that you're thinking about? i remember seeing this years ago as well. maybe the very late 80's or early 90's on the USA channel. the whole slide/ball pit thing is something that has stuck in my mind since i was a kid. from what i remember, the way to enter the funhouse was to climb into these holes in the wall, which would take you down a slide into the funhouse. the teens all enter and get split up at some point. at one point, i think two girls escaped but had to go back into the funhouse for some reason, so they slid back down the slides [head first] and that is when the killer closed the end of the slides. broken neck[s]. i would love to see this movie again!

My God, I've spent forever trying to find the movie you are talking about. I'm glad I'm not alone in the search though.

maybe it's the movie called "fun house" but that's actually not "the funhouse"??? either way, that movie does sound pretty cool!

the movie that we're trying to figure out was made in the 80's. from what i remember, that was pretty much the fashion in the movie. mid or late 80's. it's probably one of those movies that doesn't even have *funhouse* in the title so it'll be almost impossible to find unless someone on here knows the movie.

I've spent so much time trying to figure this one out to no avail. Man it is really starting to drive me crazy. I know the movie probably sucks, but I NEED to see it again.

I think what you guys are thinking about is when USA was doing remakes of Hitchcock Presents YEARS AND YEARS ago....it was a short 1 hour show where 2 girls, at the end, go into the fun house and they end up dying in the end w/ the doors to the slide locked. I remember the sound of the blood dripping.

I wanna say there was a boy involved and he ended up killing both of them cause one was trying to kill the other or something like that.

I looked online and can't find the episodes, but I'm sure it was an Alfred Hitchcock remake on USA - around the same time as when Silk Stalkings came out on USA....

Whew! I think it's hilarious that so many folks remember and loved that episode! I saw it when I was, like, 13 years old but it was so good and such a shocker at the end! Ha!
