Aaron Sorkin : Who do you think are the BEST 'Sorkin' actors?

I was wondering who eve5b4ryone (Sorkin fans) thinks are the best of the actors across the 3 Sorkin TV series, in other words, who are the best vessels for his writing and incredible dialogue? Not saying that all the actors aren't good (actually they kinda HAVE to be to hack it with his scripts) but who are the ones just perfectly suited for his verbal flow. Not giving a # limit on how many.

Again, just asking for opinions on the best of the best, not suggesting any of them were really any less than anyone else.

Not in a TV but Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men was very much a "Sorkin-actor". In fact he was the only one in the cast I thought who "got" Sorkin's style.

Sports night was great! I bought the series; too bad it was short-lived

Loved Krause and Huffman dynamics

West Wing is good: Allison Janney and Brad Whitford

Michael J Fox- he was great, hit marks wonderfully.

Michael Douglas- just seem to get it and flowed so well.

most of American President cast but the two Mikes were outstanding. So much so Douglas was back on top and Fox got a sort of spin off and even named it as such, spin city.

and that is exactly why spin city is called spin city

I'd have to say Schiff felt the realist, the best at conversational acting. Whittford is great to, nobody delivers a Sorkin monologue like Martin Sheen. Points for Fellicity Huffman, who also appeared on WW as a COS for I think the Majority leader, and as herself hosting S60. Malina isnt among my favorites unfairly because of the direction they took him after Sorkin left, a role they made ill fitting, but I liked him a great deal on Sports night and on WW before Sorkin left and after "Toby" left.

John Spencer deserves mention as does the sublime Mary Louise Parker.

I think you have to mention Anna Deavere Smith, who played Dr. Nancy McNally on West Wing and was also Robin McCall in The American President.
I also think Emily Proctor (Ainsley Hayes - WW) was a great Sorkin actress. She is tragically wasted on that CSI show.

Bradly Witford is the bomb, but how do you not have Martin Sheen on the list? President Freak'n Bartlet! But I agree with the rest of your list.

Matthew Perry turned out to be able to break from his TV sitcom mode and actually try something different. Aaron Sorkin's writing was the reason he pulled it off. Not to mention he had terriric chemistry with Bradley Whitford, whether it was on The West Wing or Studio 60.

I'm hoping Perry manages to work with Sorkin again. I'd love it if he tried to get involved in the Facebook movie.

Allison Janney is probably unbeatable, and Richard Schiff also created a whole new style through Sorkin's own style.

Yup Matt Perry was absolutely brilliant in Studio 60.

And I also agree that the chemistry him & Bradley Whitford was just the stuff of dreams! The first half of the only season we got of this incredible show was as good television as I've ever seen
