Black Mirror : Juneperio

Juneperio

That would be Infinite hell. How many thousand years of humanity can you take?

Re: Juneperio

It sure beats death and rotting away in a carehome, imo. And of course they were free to leave at any time. I'd at least stay for a few decades, and longer if they had a whole world to explore and not just one town.

Re: Juneperio

They can always check-out permanently. I wonder if "put me in sleep mode for a few years and "wake me back up" would be an option. I suspect being your youngest, fittest, and most attractive version in a resort would have appeal for years, if not decades. I can see the move toward more and more decadence and despair until enough is enough and you "opt-out" permanently. But do you? And is it really you or just an electronic ghost?

That's what makes Black Mirror such a great show to watch and discuss.

BTW, several episodes could easily been made into highly successful feature-length movies.

Re: Juneperio

a lot more than what we have if we have little to no limitations.

Re: Juneperio

Working with the elderly every day I can tell you there is no such thing as GOLDEN years unfortunately. Most people die alone and Very rarely in their sleep. I loved this episode, it would be a fantastic thing IMO
