Black Mirror : Any plans for a Black Mirror movie?

Any plans for a Black Mirror movie?

Could make for a great series of films.

Re: Any plans for a Black Mirror movie?

There are a few movies that are like Black Mirror, if you look through the messages someone has posted a Black Mirror watch list with all movies that are like BM.
It's a good list that lead me to a movie called Circle 2015. I watched it last night and whilst being very low budget was actually really good, you should check it out!
13 Sins and Triangle are very much like BM as well, the latter is one of the best movies of the 00's IMO!

Re: Any plans for a Black Mirror movie?

They kinda already are a series of movies, aren't they? What would be the difference, longer episodes?

Re: Any plans for a Black Mirror movie?

The last episode of the third season was movie sized. It was pretty bad, but it was a bad episode anyways. Very lazy.

Re: Any plans for a Black Mirror movie?

A movie is 50 minutes or longer. All of the episodes are over an hour long.

Re: Any plans for a Black Mirror movie?

Not necessarily a movie, but since they are not all part of the same universe?

Although not sure how true that is by the constant references to other episodes by news papers or other forms of random shout outs.

But would be interesting to do a film type of show to show how different, if some are different? universes are?

They could explore this as a longer episode like white christmas or hated in the nation.

Re: Any plans for a Black Mirror movie?

What's the point? Since every episode tells an entirely different story, they are each pretty much the equivalent of a short film.

The closest movie that could easily resemble a Black Mirror full lenght film would be the movie "Her", starring Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, Scarlett Johansson, and Chris Pratt.

So there you go!
