I normally like Beyonc's elaborate performances but I have to agree. One of the most pretentious performances I've seen from a major pop star since the Born This Way era.

Try the halo around her head, the last supper setup, the whole goddess theme. But you're gonna sit here and act like you didn't see any of that and anyone who doesn't like her performance or thinks that she's full of herself is a hater. So not even gonna entertain it.

I said the Virgin Mary because that's the closest deity image that came to mind when I saw her pregnant with a halo around her head. Whether it was Mary or "Oshun". My point remains exactly the same. I don't think it matters what the message was supposed to be, it was overly long and b111coring. The end result was one big flop that focused on her out of control ego. Her outfit was a costume designed for a pole dancer and we were mesmerized into watching her belly like some kind of snake charmer. How absolutely inappropriate is this woman going to get before it stops. Yikes, I wish I could wash the vision out of my brain.
