She was a power house as well, and her latest film " Surviving Compton " proves she still has a great voice. if her career wasn't put on hold I think she could have gave Whitney , and Mariah some competition her three hits really show case her talent .

I'm not sure why Michel'le fame died down, I mean her, Tracie Spencer, and Jody Watley are 3 of my favorite underrated female singers from the 80s. Michel'le really had voice on her and I love Mariah Carey but I think she may be able to beat Mariah in a singing battle.

Same thing with Staci Lattisaw. Her career never took off big.

To me, Staci Lattisaw was overrated. She had a voice, but it wasn't anything special. I know a lot of peopled liked her, but I was like meh.

I don't think she would have had Whitney success, but she would have been bigger. I love her song, Just Call Me Nicety.

Watching the video tells a lot, and I think it was the video seen in Michel'le's movie. She is rather covered up in the video.

You right Staci Lattisaw was alright she had a great voice. I feel that Stephanie Mills also should have been a more huge singer, its like after the 80s she faded away.

Fantasia screwed up her own career. I tried four times to see her in the Color Purple, but she couldn't bother to show up. That type of behavior leaves a bad taste in fan's mouths.
