Engelbert Humperdinck : Saw him in concert…

Last night I saw him in concert with my mum when he came to Perth, Australia. We were in the second row from the front, basically 2 metres away from him! He was really good. For a seventy year old man, he was jumping around the stage, dancing, singing live- very impressive. He made lots of jokes, reagrding Elvis, Tom Jones, his book, the women in his life- he's very charming. He got a lady from the audience to come up on stage (my mum was so jealous) and he sat on her and kissed her twice. Then at the end threw 5 of his red handkerchiefs into the audience. I caught the last one for my mum, she was so happy (but still jealous of the other lady). It smelt really nice of his cologne. It was an awesome night!!

sounds like a great concert , i missed ob68ut on a chance to see him here in california last year and i am kicking myself for not attending

he is fantastic - just to let any fans know he guest starred on a dutch show called 'Toppers' - its 3 famous dutch individual stars who get together to do a live show (its really very good) and their guest in 2007 concert was Engelbert himself and woweeee - he was only on for about 10 minutes but he outsang them all - he had to hold the microphone so far away because of his powerful voice and it was still crystal clear and extremely strong and emotional. it's available on DVD - but I could only find it in Holland - 'Toppers in Concert 2007' - just in case anyone wanted to knowx
