Beauty and the Beast : If the master finds out about this?

If the master finds out about this?

I'm pretty sure Cogsworth said this. Why do they call "The Beast", master? They're not slaves, right?

Re: If the master finds out about this?

No, but they are servants. And thus, the beast would be their master.

Intelligence and purity.

Re: If the master finds out about this?

Right. It's no different than Alfred calling Bruce "Master Wayne" in various Batman media.

Brony who is also a Metallica and Iron Maiden fan.

Re: If the master finds out about this?

... I agree w/ the posts here. Don't most servants call their employers particularly Royals, Masters? At least in all the TV and movies I've seen, lol.

Re: If the master finds out about this?

Well they were pretty much his slaves since they were his servants that got turned into various objects

Re: If the master finds out about this?

He's the "master of the house", just like there's a "mistress of the house". Just watch some period pieces set in England and you'll see servants refer to their employers as master/mistress all the time.

Re: If the master finds out about this?

For a more modern example, Geoffrey on The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air calls Will and Carlton Master William and Master Carlton and calls Hilary and Ashley Miss Hilary and Miss Ashley they are not even his employers! They are just his employees' son, nephews and daughters! He calls Vivian Miss too(which would actually make more sense as she is married to his employer Phil, who he calls Master Philip. They are all YOUNGER than him and he still calls them Miss and Master which shows his respect for them professionally.

Drake is repetitive. He just raps the same thing over and over as if he is in an insane asylum!LOL:D
