All AHS finales are disappointing

Even a great season gets an OK finale, so I was wasnt surprised, but this season is by far more superior then the last two seasons LOVED IT

I LOVED Asylum's ending. The rest...

Papi Pacify

Re: All AHS finales are disappointing

Yes. Loved that one too. I think I cried. Sister Jude finally found peace.

Re: All AHS finales are disappointing

They do tend to make the finales feel more like a coda. I would guess that's because the penultimate has the climax, and the finale is more about closure.

Re: All AHS finales are disappointing

Yup, finales for ahs are basically epilogues

Re: All AHS finales are disappointing

Except for Coven. That was the climax, don't you think?

Re: All AHS finales are disappointing

I love Asylum's finale. Murder House's okay for me. The rest, I agree, are meh (dunno about Hotel, though, can't get through the third episode).

Re: All AHS finales are disappointing

Nope. Asylum's was perfect.

Re: All AHS finales are disappointing

Even with the show at its worst I think the season finales are well done aside from Roanoke (I didn't hate the episode as much as a lot of people but still
pretty lousy)

Re: All AHS finales are disappointing

Season 1 had airtime cut so that's why it's a bit choppy. It also felt like a demented Beetlejuice type finale.

Season 2 was awesome. Jude getting her peace, Lana and Johnny, etc.

Season 3 felt rushed I'll agree with that. Cordelia and Fiona's final scene was terrific though.

Freakshow was weird. Kill off the cast members not in the opening credits, wrap up Dandy and his stuff...then switch to Hollywood and Elsa? Like 2 completely different episodes.

Haven't seen Hotels yet.

Roanake I cannot say since I didn't watch the entire season. I just wanted to make sure Lana didn't get the Queenie treatment.
