Grant Cramer : Where was mall scene filmed?

Where was the mall scene in Hardbodies (where Scotty takes the three losers to get new clothes, haircuts and try pick-up lines on girls) filmed?
It is an outdoor mall that appears to have small streams and small, unique novelty shops throughout.
Anybody know?

I could be wrong but I think it was in Hermosa Beach, Ca. Alot of the movie was fimed there in Hermosa and I believe the "mall" was off of Sepulveda Blvd. I remember going to a place just like it as a kid and in fact the first time I saw Hardbodies and the mall scene came up I recognized it. I also was cruising the strand in Hermosa when they were filming Hardbodies.

We shot Hardbodies all over Southern Ca. - from Hermosa to Venice Beach to Malibu, but the mall scene was actually shot at a little mall right out in the valley in Encino.
