Million Dollar Listing New York : The totally fake crap about Ryan's girlfriend carrying their child

Wow, we all know this show is scripted/staged, etc. but this idea that Frederik and Derek would ask Ryan's girlfriend to be a surrogate or give up her eggs or whatever the hell it is they want her to do is SO over the top and ridiculous, it's hard for even me to take this show seriously.

First of all, they decide this after meeting her one time for dinner? Right. Secondly, how they can not know Ryan doesn't like them very much, not only after what he's done to Frederik in the past, but even the way he acted at that dinner, is beyond belief. At least Emilia was able to keep a straight face as she told Ryan she was considering doing it, after thinking about it for approximately one hour.

It's bad enough we all know this show, like all the Bravo stuff, is mostly fake, but when they make it so obvious like this, it's a real turn off. Stick to the houses and the wheeling and dealing, Bravo, not the fake stuff!

I agree. Of course it's all scripted but the whole surrogate thing is just too obvious.

Of course it was scripted or contrived by the producers and/or Frederick. But they did not ask her to be a surrogate. They just asked her to be an egg donor. And if I wanted a child and knew Amelia, I'd ask her too. She's so friggin' cute and sweet. Love her!

I wouldn't ask her not if I was in Frederick's shoes. Why ask someone who is with someone you don't like? Do you seriously want that type of lifetime connection to them? I doubt if she would have just been the donor though. I don't think they will ask two separate people to do both things.

I'm sure they've met more than once - the guys seem to show up at Bravo events, WWHL, etc.

Still though - isn't there a place where you can get donated eggs? Do you have to hit up all your friends?

As for Fredrik not wanting to ask his best woman friend b/c she now has a boyfriend - when she was single it was okay? Like you're getting too old to have a serious relationship and have a kid so give us your eggs before you dry up?

I agree. We ALL know it's scripted but they don't have to make it so obvious like they did with this "egg" situation. Just stick to high end NYC real estate please!
