Homicide: Life on the Street : A&E series boxed set defects? season 6 'Lies and Other Truths'

anyone else with the box set or the season 6 set unable to watch 'Lies And Other Truths' without the picture breaking down?

I haven't bought S6 yet, so thanks for the warning. The technical quality of the DVDs is so unbelievably bad that I'm put off from watching/buying any further discs.

You may want to buy the A&E editions anyway. if anyone else releases it on DVD the original montage music from every episode might not be used. shows like northern exposure and quantum leap have come out with generic music because they didn't want to pay copyright on the original featured music all over again. the A&e editions have all the original music intact

Thanks. If I lived in the states, I'd probably look out for re-run airings and PVR them in case the quality is better than the DVDs. It's strange that TV shows and films often have their soundtracks altered for home video because of royalty issues but they're intact during re-runs on TV.
