Creed Bratton : funniest line ever…

Re: funniest line ever…

"Awwww, nobody told me we were having hot dogs!"

Re: funniest line ever…

"If that's flashing, then lock me up"
Kinda cruel, but classy

Re: funniest line ever…

No one steals from Creed Bratton and gets away with it. The last man to do that disappeared. His name? Creed Bratton

Re: funniest line ever…

Instant creed classic! I wonder what his real name isor does it matter?

Re: funniest line ever…

His real name is: Creed Bratton

Re: funniest line ever…

A recent deleted scene had Creed in a talking head segment saying "I've done many things I'm not proud of. I committed atrocities in Vietnam." (Pause) "Two years ago. Princess Cruise lines."

Awesome.

I laughed so hard, but I still want to know what the heck it was!

its all happening

Re: funniest line ever…

Just two wordsCreed ThoughtsCheck it out

I love Creed!!! He rocks

Re: funniest line ever…

Although basically everything he says has me in hysterical laughter. But one of my favorites is form the Frame Toby episode. Sorry if I don't have the quote exactly right.

Security Guard: We're investigating an anonymous tip about drugs hidden in the office
Creed (to camera): Just pretend we're talking until the cops leave

His delivery and reactions are just perfect.

R.I.P. That '70's show, GOODBYE WISCONSIN!1998-2006no.gif

Re: funniest line ever…

In the episode "Money" from season 4 when they're all in the conference room discussing the correct usage of the word whomever as to whoever.
Creed: It's a made-up word used to trick students.

And also in "Business School" from season 3 although its not a linewhen the bat starts flying around the office everyone panics and/or hides while Creed just leans back in his chair while watching the bat.

Re: funniest line ever…

When Holly asks him what he does at Dunder Mifflin, he says, excuse me a moment. we then see him talking to camera, back hugging the wall "what is wrong with this woman? What is it I do? Quaa-something qaul somthing qua qua Quabbady Ashwoods, thats it!

Re: funniest line ever…

When Creed's picking his nose, gets Jim's attention and says "Hey, do you want a booger?" and flicks it at him.

Also during a recess at a meeting, Creed stands up on a table and says "Do you want to see my boxer shorts?", and unzips his pants with polka-dot boxer shorts.

Re: funniest line ever…

i love the part in the episode where theres a bat in the office and everyone is panicking and screaming, and creed is just sitting at his desk all calm and smiling hahaha

Re: funniest line ever…

After Jim says he lives near a quarry in Frame Toby.

Creed: Cool beans, man, I live by the quarry. We should hang out by the quarry and throw things down there.
Jim: [staring at the camera] Definitely we should.

Completely random and hilarious.

Re: funniest line ever…

This is a killer thread. Been laughing my ass off just reading these. Best character ever.

Re: funniest line ever…

For me it's when Creed and Jim sits in the lunch room and Creed suddenly says:
So I want to hook you up with my daughter!
(It's the time when Jim and Pam is planning their'e wedding too)
Then Jim says: I am engaged to Pam.
Creed: I thought you were gay.
Jim: Then why do you want to hook meup with your daughter
Then the look on Creeds face when he say5b4s: I don't know

It is just the perfect scene.

Re: funniest line ever…

I can't picture Creed having a kid. I thought of a part that nobody said but it isn't a quote. The episode where Michael gave blood, at the end you see Creed walking away with a tube of blood.

Re: funniest line ever…

"Creed Bratton has never declared bankruptcy. When Creed Bratton gets into trouble, he transfers his debt to William Charles Schneider."

which is Creed's real name

Re: funniest line ever…

I know its not a quote but inn season 3 'Product Recall'. When creed frames the girl at the paper mill and gets her fired because he didnt do his quality spot check. Then he gets a card and collects money from the rest of the office to help the fired worker, then just throws the card away and keeps the money. Creed is HILARIOUS!!!

Re: funniest line ever…

Those TBS promos are pretty funny.

Creed: "TBS? Give me the money and I'll get you some."

Re: funniest line ever…

Wow, I really read all of these. Creed is hilarious!..and strange:

"If I cant scuba dive, then what has this all been about?"

Not sure if I quoted it right, but it just builds more to the mystery of Creed.

"That designated driver is hot! I'd like to get her drunk.."

Re: funniest line ever…

Hard to think of an absolute favoritereally like the whole "Nobody steals from Creed Bratton and gets away with it. The last person to do thisdisappeared. His nameCreed Bratton."

Also, don't think it's been mentioned yet, but the episode Meredith is in the hospital and they go to visit her and upon hearing about painkillers, Creed just pops in and names off one drug after another. That was priceless, especially Jim's look.

Re: funniest line ever…

On the deleted scenes in one of the early seasons, Creed confesses that he actually lives in Canada so he can draw on their government for social security, and that he commutes to Pennsylvania during the week and sleeps under his desk at night.

There is also a great deleted scene in "Booze Cruise" about Creed's band in the 60swhich was his real bandto explain why he can play the guitar so well.

Re: funniest line ever…

"When Pam gets Micheal's old chair, I get Pam's old chair, then I will have 2 chairs, only 1 to go." LMAO

Welcome to my Ignore list sucka

Re: funniest line ever…

Creed- "When I was a teenager, I was in an iron lung"
Micheal- "whaa, how old ARE you?"

Welcome to my Ignore list sucka

Re: funniest line ever…

Creed: "Good job, kid"
Dwight: "Thanks, old man"

Re: funniest line ever…

I can't believe no one has mentioned "Let's put a smile on that face!" - When Creed comes in the office in Ledger style Joker makeup. Totally creepy, totally awesome. I bust out laughing every time and have to rewatch that little segment a few times before letting the episode play out.

By far the funniest character in the show because you're always waiting for him to say something anything. Or do something anything. The stealing blood, the mung beans, the printer ink dyed hair. Great character.

Re: funniest line ever…

"let's pretend we're talking" when the cops came to search the drugs

Re: funniest line ever…

pam tries to get out of going to lunch when michael is dating pam's mother so she pretends that there's a problem with some shipment and jim takes the phone and says "oh good the shipment made it problem solved" then creed says "somethings wrong, that shipment was never supposed to arrive"

Re: funniest line ever…

I think the best one is with jim
"Youre not real, Man"

Re: funniest line ever…

I thought I was the only person who thought Creed was the funniest character on the showSo many great Creed quotes to choose from"Which one is Pam?" is a classic..I loved the exchange with Jim and Creed, which someone mentioned earlier, where Creed wants to set up Jim with his daughter. But my all time favorite has to be this oneit was in the Baby Shower episode and I don'tknow if this is word for word correct, but its close

Jan - "I had an underwater delivery"

Kevin - "So all the birth stuff went in the water too?"

Jan - "Yeahthe placenta floated"

Creed - "That must have looked like the tide at Omaha Beach"

Re: funniest line ever…

Again this isn't a line yet still hilarious, at the beginning of the pam and jim wedding episode when everybody starts throwing up in the office then we see a cut to Creed and hes just slurping ramen noodles from a bowltoo funny. A lot of Creeds best stuff are just the actions and facial expressions we see in the background.

Re: funniest line ever…

Creed and Dwight are my faves. A lot of great Creed moments are cut from the show and can only be seen on the DVD's deleted scenes sections but my favourite line is something like; "i have been involved in many cults, sometimes a leader, sometimes a follower. It's more profitable being a leader but being a follower is a lot more fun"
also a great deleted scene where he runs into a reporter who wrote his obituary.

"Mom's gonna fix it all soon. Mom's comin' round to put it back the way it oughta be."

Re: funniest line ever…

Michael say's something about all the ink missing in his printer, then it pan's over to creed with dark hair. He used ink to dye his hair hahaha! I think a lot of people miss this one because it happens fast but it was SO funny!

Also, "When I was 15 I was in an Iron lung"then Michael goes "What? How old are you?" Creed then gives him a funny look.

Oh! And when everyone in the office is puking and creed is just sitting there eating noodles. Haha. He's so weird.
I <3 the office!

Re: funniest line ever…

EVERYTHING Creed says makes me laugh. Checking for a wallet on a CPR Practice Dummy, saying "whomever" is a made up word used to trick students, and the mung beans, just to name a few. The one that i really like that no one has talked about is when Toby is leaving and his replacement asks Creed what he does at the company. After a long pause, he says "Excuse me" and says:

"What is wrong with this woman? She's asking about stuff that's nobody's business. "What do I do?" Really, what do I do here? I should've written it down. "Qua" something, uh qua quar quibo, qual quir-quabity. Quabity assuance! No. No, no, no, no, but I'm getting close."

Re: funniest line ever…

There's Been a Murder in Savannah

When Creed comes in late and Michael tells him that there's been a murder and he's a suspect. And Creed says that he has to get some things together, but bolts out of the office and peels out of the parking lot.

One of the funniest scenes in TV history.

Re: funniest line ever…

not exactly a line, but there was one scene (forgot the episode; i think it was something about old people in the office), where the camera follows a man with black hair from behind all the time. the viewer assumes its a young fellow but when he sits down, you see its creed with a toupet. doesn't sound that funny, but that one definitely cracked me up

That line KILLED me.

Re: funniest line ever…

"Best Edward James Olmos costume ever. I mean, freaky good."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA @ Oscar last Halloween.

Re: funniest line ever…

I don't know if anyone mentioned this Creed moment because I haven't been able to read all the responses but I love the scene at Phyllis' wedding where he tears off someone's card from their gift, throws it in the trash, and puts a card with his name on the gift. Oh man that is hysterical and actually a good idea even though it sucks for the person who bought the gift!!

I love Creed and have always said he is my favorite character even though he doesn't get to say or do much.

Re: funniest line ever…

"I'm 30.well I'll be 30 in November" lmao after he died his hair black

Re: funniest line ever…

haha I agree!

Re: funniest line ever…

"Creed: This gal, she's really into you?

Andy: Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I've seen her, like, three times today. And we love all the same music, and whenever I walk into a room, she totally looks up.

Creed: All right, all right. Say no more. So, this is how I got Squeaky Fromme. No small talk. Just show her who's the boss. Just go right in and kiss her."

That coupled with the cult thingy leads to very subtle associations with The Manson Family.
Funny as fck.

Re: funniest line ever…

I love when angela says she paid 7000 for a cat creed says I CAN GET YOU A KID FOR THAT!!!!!
