Heaven & Hell: North & South, Book III : George and Madeline

George and Madeline

They just seem better off as friends. Their "romantic" dialogue just made me laugh! It was terrible! It looked like both James Read and Lesley-Ann Down hated doing their loves scenes. It just looked contrived. They should've been business partners, friends and that's it.

Re: George and Madeline

Omg I know! I was sooo disquested! They didnt even wait a year! they hardly even spoke to each other!

Re: George and Madeline

I never saw it coming - until I did. The relationship in the past ones showed they were just friends of friends, so by the time book 3 came, and came with a disasterous bangthe writers sudenly decided to throw the two characters together warning spoiler*because they lossed the loves of their lives.
And I hated it.

Re: George and Madeline

I hated it too. Seriously they just deceide they are true loves after thier love of thier lives die!Does anyone see anything wrong with that?( of corse not lol). Madeline was supposed to be too senisble for that but noooo! She acts like a slut and takes off her clothes.Honestly burn this video up and make a new one! PLEEEEEEASE!LOVE dARTH cHUCKLES

Re: George and Madeline

Their love in the book grew over time and in the book they fell in love around 5-10 years after Bent had killed Constanze. THe writers for this thing had to be soapwriters because it wasnt the standard North and South had

Re: George and Madeline

I think North and South is one big soap opera. One big soap opera that I'm addicted to.

Yeah, they did fall in love in the books. However, I do not remember Madeline and George hooking up It was kind of awkward. I bet it was weird. Hellllooo James Read is MARRIED to Wendy Kilbourne, remember this.

But George and Maddie did make a nice couple way better than Maddie and Orry. There just wasn't a spark there between Maddie and Orry.

"Just remember, you're my friend and I love you." +Billy Hazard

Re: George and Madeline

How can you say that! They were a terrific couple and a great match for one another. If there is TRUE LOVE between two people then THAT is a good match.

Re: George and Madeline

You're right, it is a big soap opera. The cast is made up with a lot of soap stars, too.

Re: George and Madeline

In the cast interviews, Lesley-Anne said in fact she had enjoyed the scenes with James Read.
