Devil in a Blue Dress : The Girl Got Seven Thousand Dollars…
Re: The Girl Got Seven Thousand Dollars…
That is absolutely one of my favorite parts!!!
"Oh my goodness!" "Oh my God!" "Oh my goodness!" "Oh my God!"
I thought he was gonna pee his pants, Jack!
I also like the part where Easy is begging Coretta for "Just a lil' bit mo'"

Cheedle rocked in this..I liked the part where he said.."If you didn't want him dead, why'd you leave him with me?"

All the audience could do, once they stopped laughing, is say "True" or "Yeah".
Everyone knew the deal about Mouse at that point in the movie.
No two persons ever watch the same movie.

Just rote shuckin n jivin yo. Nuttin special.
The Girl Got Seven Thousand Dollars…
"The girl got SEVEN-THOUSAND-DOLLARS!!"
*sound of tires screeching*
EEEEERERRRRRRRRRRRRRKKKK!!!
"OH MY GOD!!"
The earnest fervor in the tone of Mouse's voice is part of what makes this film so remarkable. (Its also extremely funny) But Don Cheadle so nailed this part that to me it evokes comparison to another role of a lifetime like that of Val Kilmers portrayal of Doc Holiday in Tombstone. I had been a fan of Cheadles ever since the early 80s, and I sat up and really took notice after I saw him in Colors (1988), but this role was the one that made me realize this man was more than just a fine actor; this role proved he was going to someday be a legend. Hes not quite there yet, but hes well on his way.
LOVE him in this role though!
"Stick with me baby, and you'll be fartin' thru silk!"
