The View : Lady Gaga very Pro American Halftime show.

Gaga started with "God Bless America/This Land is Your Land" and continued with a bit of "The Pledge of Allegiance" before going into a very pro-American message and did a good job throughout with several of her big hits.

Very good performance by Lady Gaga.

Just amazing. I definitely teared up. THIS is patriotism.

Can you believe Sonny complained that her performance was underwhelming because she didn't get political? She is one bitchy woman!

did she really say that?? (I haven't watched today's show yet)Wow, just shows you that some people are waiting to pounce on someone or something regardless of what they do. Had Lady Gaga gotten political, then Sonny would have complained along the lines that she was "too political" and that it wasn't an appropriate performance for a football game. Sonny is one of those people where others are damned if you do, damned if you don't - she will find something to be critical about.

She does seem to delight in being contrary at times.

It went over A LOT of peoples heads. Thats exactly why I loved it. I thought it was VERY political. very subtle and some just didn't get that.
