The View : Deleted again for posting the story of my life

The tolerant folks from the left obviously did not take kindly to my views on abortion and reported me to IMDB and as a result, my posts were deleted so I started a new account.

A little about me (aka) Miz_Deplorable (formally known as teadog23)
For starters, my name is Christine and Im NOT a sock puppet. Ive spent the last couple of months in the hospital recovering from a stroke. A stroke that was caused from years of trying to have a child. I had a tear in my carotid artery (a tear that I've had from childhood that I was not aware of) and a clot formed at the site of the tear from all of the medication I had been taking in an attempt to get pregnant. After 5 long years of trying everything under the sun my dream had come true, I was pregnant. I cannot describe the excitement my husband and I felt when I finally found out I was going to have a baby. My dream was short lived as 3 months ago while on the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I lost control of the right side of my body. My husband rushed me to our local hospital and after being examined, I was flown by helicopter to Johns Hopkins.

I was not aware at the time, but I found out later that my carotid artery was 93% blocked. The team of neurologists pumped my body with loads of coumadin to save my life. I survived, but we lost our daughter. Yes, our baby was a little girl and the doctors were able to determine that at 5 months.

As I type this, Im sitting in a room in the brain rescue unit and Johns Hopkins hospital.

Why am I telling this to complete stranger this? I'm tired of keyboard warriors who attack people simply because of their political views. I leaned right for this particular election, but Im NOT a racist, Im not an Islamophobic and Im NOT a fascists. Im just a proud American that simply wants change.

I used this platform to kill time while recovering and I find it mind boggling that someone reported me for simply giving an opinion.

I had 4 friends visit me today in the hospital who screenshot the photo to the Myer 9 Building (which is the brain rescue unit @ Hopkins) The timeline on my Facebook doesnt lie.

More than ever, you should be grateful that the ACA was in place when you went through your ordeal, because back in the Fall when it was time to renew your enrollment with your health insurance for 2017, THEY WOULD HAVE HAD EVERY RIGHT TO DROP YOU because you cost them money. They did it before Obamacare, and would have continued. But because of ACA, they could not - that was one of the restrictions Obama put on health insurance.they could not drop you because of a pre-existing condition/illness.

I did lose control of half my body, thats what happens when you have a stroke. I also had slurred speech and my vision was off. Thankfully, nothing was permanent and I've regained all functions.

I was not in the hospital on November 8th so I was able to vote. Ive been in and out for the past couple of months. Prior to my stroke I had 3 TIAs (mini strokes) They were very mild and after a couple of days the doctors sent me home with warfarin (blood thinner). Unfortunately, I ended up having a real stroke which is what Im being treated for now. I just had a stent put in so hopefully the worst is behind me.

Once again, thank you to everyone that sent warm, caring messages, I really appreciate it. KewlKat will be thrilled to find out that Im heading back to work in less than a week so I wont be posting as often. But dont get too excited kitty, Ive become very fond of this board and Ill be checking in often.
