Sean Lennon : I met him!!

Super cool, funny, warm, unpretentious guy. Saw him and his band GOASTT with gf Charlotte Kemp-Muhl and they were amazing. He's not just a talented musician, he's a multi-instrumentalist, and he plays every instrument brilliantly. His voice is actually really, really great live and the songs were all so beautiful. I was also struck by what a nice guy he is. He came out after the show and signed/took photos with/talked to all the fans and he had this really vibrant, charming personality. Everyone was shocked. He just didn't have that terribly ignorant generalization of a personality that people who don't know him but I guess feel like they have the right to judge him, his parents, his brother, etc. often say he doeshe was awesome.

Go see the GOASTT in concert if you can. Sean Lennon is soooooooo talented, and Charlotte is simply awesome. Don't believe any of the crap about his voice/music that some haters preach- he was brilliant. John's genes went far with BOTH his sons.

Sounds nice. I have always wondered about Seans height. Is he really 5'9'', he looks shorter. Would you happen to know?

Um, I think maybe 5'8''. He isn't a tall guy by any means, but not short. I was surprised by how thin he was in person. I never got that impression in pictures but he's got a small build. Makes sense considering his dad, but people always look different in person compared to pics.

He's shorter than his dad. John, similar to Paul and Gorge, was 5'10. If Sean is 5'8, he's the same height as Ringo.

I would love to meet Sean. He sounds like a nice, grounded guy. I really like Goastt. It's not your average pop, but quirky and indie, which I like.

But he looks around 5'9. I read somewhere that his brother Julian is 5'8. And yes, John was about 5'10 - 5'11.

Maybe Sean is a little taller than 5'8'' or Ringo is shorter than that height because I saw a photo of them side by side at the Imagine Peace tower lighting and Sean was definitely taller than Ringo.

And there are new pics of Sean with Julian and they definitely look the same height. Sometimes these recorded heights are off. Both guys were wearing the exact same shoes as well.

However tall Charlotte is without her shoes is exactly how tall Sean is, as she said in a recent interview that without heels she and Sean are exactly the same height. :)
