Judging by the amount of people mentioning Christian Bale instead of Slater their reviews of this film, i'm guessing this is some 'hilarious' student joke.

To go that low, it means it was only released in 1 or 2 theaters. So it's not really related to the quality of the movie (though it can't have looked too good if they couldn't be bothered to release it to more locations than that).

Agreed. I loved Christian Bale in Batman but his performance in this movie was brilliant.

I haven't seen it yet, but judging from the trailer, Christian Bale underwent another incredible physical transformation to inhabit his character. Wow. I need to see this.
