I can't remember exactly what he says about her, but I remember him saying something about "See the one holding the lamb? I'd...." and then I forget the rest. Whatever the case, if that would have happened, it would have taken away from the stories plot. Maybe he did get with her and they just didn't show it. But he was more into trying to replace the king with the musketeers to have time for a girl. And like I said, it would have taken away from the original story that they were trying to tell.

Re: The Goat Girl

He basically said that he would be happy living his life out on the farm with her, and he did not aspire to be king. It wasnt so much of a "im in love with her or want her" it was a "I'm a simple kind of guy and a simple life would make me happy"

Re: The Goat Girl

That's what I got when I watched the movie again recently :)

Re: The Goat Girl

"I would tend lambs with her for the rest of my life."

It was said previously that he was basically saying that he would have been content to have been freed from prison and then go back to living his quiet life in the country like he had before Louie had him captured.

Strange, but after he does take over the throne this where Louie ended up after spending some time (they never mentioned how much) in prison for his unspeakably evil crimes.

As the narrator put it Louie "...was given a royal pardon and was taken to the country where he lived quietly, visited often by the Queen."

Re: The Goat Girl

I noticed the irony too, how they ended up in each other's preferred lifestyles. I can see Louis falling for a lamb maid too though.
