If you are so bothered by all the other instances where he used these kinds of gesturing then tell me why it only became a big deal when he used it against a disabled reporter? And how does this fit with the narrative that he mocked the reporter specifically for his disability? Am I supposed to believe this abundantly used gesture all of a sudden means sth. different to Trump when it went against the reporter? And it is YOU who is saying that it is spastic. To me it looks like someone who is nervous and trying to get of a bad situation and doesn't know what to say. I would have never seen that it could be interpreted as spastic if it wasn't for all the news outlets constantly perpetuating that he must have mocked the disability of a reporter, which is quite funny because it means that people like you are actually making this insult kind of exist in the real world where it would not be without your outrage. The funny thing is that I don't remember the press going in on Barack when he was on Leno a few years back and he compared his bowling game as comparable to something at the special olympics. I did watch. And some people really ought to do some research before they open their mouths. Yes, I'm talking about you. First of all, I have seen that video before. Second, it does not list any dates. Third, the only one which was remotely similar is from where he mentions senator Cruz and water boarding, and that was four months after he mocked the reporter. You know how I know? Because I actually did some research.

I guess it's the power of "fake news" that so few left of center even know about the videos showing clearly that Trump made the exact same "I'm really flustered" motions talking about a dozen other people. Not that it shouldn't have been expected that Trump's exaggerated playacting and bombast wasn't going to be exploited by political operatives. The reporter he supposedly mocked has an arm stuck in rigid flexion. He does not flail his arms. There is no similarity between the reporter's body movements and what Trump did. Trump is always flailing his arms and holding his hands in what people interpret to be a mockery of disabilities but that is his personal body language.
(Not the biggest fan of Trump but super annoyed at how little things are totally blown out of proportion or even falsified and used to further various agendas I lost respect for Meryl Streep because she is also using this to manipulate her viewers).

All I hear is that disabled people want to be treated as equals right! So when they make fun of michael jacksons and mike tysons voice that A OK! Find a video of him doing the same gesturing to imitate Ted, cos I've never seen that. If you have seen images of the guy he's mocking, it's clear that he was imitating the disability. Thankyou, I had not seen that. No it doesn't, it confirms that he's not a horrific *beep* just a regular one. Yes, the context of this was lost by many. Trump NEVER corrected it. He could've said "Look up tapes of me talking about Cruz, that's the hand motions I use, it wasn't specific" and it'd be done. I don't really need this as a critique of trump, I still have the tape on the bus, his twitter account and the fact that he's a moron. This disabled reporter thing is dressing on the awfulness that is Trump. He is a horrible human being and he should not have been elected president. The fact so many voted for him is shocking. Donald Trump is the worst man to ever run for President, and I'm including George Wallace in this but he didn't specifically mock one man's disability, that should be corrected and now I will no longer use that against him. Does not change the fact that he is awful, as are most/all of his supporters.
