Film General : this century's funniest movie scenes

this century's funniest movie scenes

this is one of my favorites. was laughing for a good ten minutes:

from "the other guys", "aim for the bushes"

if you haven't seen "the other guys", i wouldn't recommend a watch, the rest of it pretty much sucks. but if you want a proper set up for that clip, watch this next clip first, it's pretty good:

the other guys intro credits:

Re: this century's funniest movie scenes

'Dental Hygiene Dilemma'

Re: this century's funniest movie scenes

was browsing http://trashepics.com/tedb/ boards and a post reminded me of this:

tenacious d - master exploder

once again, i wouldn't recommend watching the whole movie. best part, by far.

before the site goes down again and i can't post this

If you haven't seen the film, you should and don't read up anything about it. Might tickle your pickle seeing as you post more about music than movies on filmboards. Maybe it'll work better than the sad Saturday night songs you're playing on YT.

Re: this century's funniest movie scenes

i have seen the movie, but never that alternate scene. why did they cut that?

"JOHN: All the good ones are mine. He does the ones that are shit"

haha. it's funny cuz it's true. maybe not really true, but john is cooler than paul, so screw him. i do love Sussudio though. a great, great song. a personal favorite:

the scene. qualifies for this thread:

edit: worth mentioning because it's neat, and i spent too much time on movies, Sussudio was inspired by the Prince song 1999, which was itself inspired by The Mamas and the Papas song Monday Monday. all great, great songs.

Re: this century's funniest movie scenes

If you've seen the movie, YT the seven+ minute version of that scene.

I was going to give a traditional response here: I'm a John but I admire Paul equally, here's my favorite Paul song, bla bla bla.

I mean, ditto everyone you checked up there but you also play connections a lot so here's one for o:cup (cheer up, buttercup).

John Lennon's son > Sean Lennon could never be good enough for > Yuka Honda of > [url=

Re: this century's funniest movie scenes

tell me your favorite paul song. i bet it's the long and winding road, or mull of kintyre.

it's let em in, isn't it?

don't worry about ruining this thread by going off topic with music chat(.org??? should i?). THEM1GHTYHUMPH already did that in the first response when he non-sequitur dropped the zappa song title with no explanation

edit: just watched, zappa thing wasn't a song.
