Beauty and the Beast : Emma Watson sings five songs in the film total
Re: Emma Watson sings five songs in the film total
I really, really hope that they have dubbed her or redone the singing as the parts we've heard so far are quite below par.
To you, Baldrick, the Renaissance was just something that happened to other people, wasn't it?

They wouldn't "Dub" her this far along. That's not just wishful thinking, that's impossible at this stage, not when it's being released in about six weeks.
Re: Emma Watson sings five songs in the film total
Yes I know - but one can hope against hope when it is ones favourite childhood film and fairytale!

She's not dubbed. It's her voice and it's spot on singing.
Re: Emma Watson sings five songs in the film total
Maybe you mean something else than the rest of us when you say 'spot on'. Perhaps look up Sam Barks to see some 'spot on' singing.

Is there really any need to swear at me? I am concerned about elements of this film, there is not need to be so rude. I am also very excited to see it whilst being concerned about the standard of the leads singing ability. There is no call for such language.

And how am I 'hateful'? I am bringing up a valid issue that many others have also expressed concern about.

When half your post history is made of meessages on boards of a person you are not of a fan of or a movie you are only abke to criticize I'd say you are pretty hateful, whether you use swear words or not. I may be rude but I don't go to a board of an actress I don't like.
You have expressed countless times your position on Emma's singing and casting and this movie in general. Why do you spend more words on it?

Re: Emma Watson sings five songs in the film total
Actually half of my post history is on an actress I very much like but who is not living up to her potential and has been cast in a film where she has to do something she has no experience in . Also an actress whose political beliefs I very much admire and support.
And a film that I am very much looking forward to and have already booked tickets for but am very concerned about the lead actresses ability to sing (and I am very much not alone with that) and whose male lead is one of my favourite actors. And the original of which was my favourite childhood film.
People are going to criticise things when they fall below standard or par and since the original of this film is beloved people are going to be critical. But criticising does not equal hateful, often it comes from a place of hope and interest. I spend words on it because I hope against hope that they have done something to repair it and I am very excited for it despite the silly changes that have made and that are anachronistic. And the singing.
All you appear to do is attack those who dislike the casting of Belle despite their very valid and consistent concerns.
There is no call for rudeness or swearing. Especially on the board of a Disney film.
