I'm predicting a Benson tantrum, a Rollins breaks yet another law (or six) on behalf of poor dumb Kimmy, a Carisi plays Captain Save-a-ho, a disapproving look from Barba (before he does whatever Benson says), and a Fin sits at his desk and looks mildly interested for a moment.

I think you've nailed it, unfortunately. In the preview clip, it looks like Rollins has allowed her sister to move in with her. How ridiculously stupid can she get? Nick, Declan and Dodds Jr aren't around to bail Rollins out of trouble this time, so it's Carisi's turn as he has already shown that he will step up when she screws up as she did in the second episode this season. Which will probably lead her to wanting to show her appreciationugh.
On a side note: what has happened to Barba?? I thought he got his cajones back when he somewhat opposed Liv in the first episode, but she took them right back in this past episode. The writers are ruining him for me. Barba's career choices are making him look as moronic as Rollins with her personal decisions.

I feel the same way about not wanting to watch this week's episode. Does anyone know if Kim is back for this one episode or is this a multi-episode arc? I can easily see this leading to a "Jesse-in-danger" storyline. Viewers need that like a hole in the heador another Noah-in-danger story.

Agreed. I wish they would kill off the whole Rollins family, I wouldn't mind it if Kim threw the goddamn baby into the Hudson River, that would end two annoying plots with one episode. Kim isn't going to be on episode 5, I read the description and she isn't in the guest star list.
I am sick of those viewers as well that only watch the show for personal drama and relationships. These people want a ton of baby in danger crap, they want a ton of inter squad relationships, and they don't care at all about the cases. Barba is being written as just Benson's lapdog and I'm tired of it. Barba has lost his balls and he now seems to exist to please Benson, I'm sure MH wants that so Benson can look better while Barba stays popular with her fans. I'm sick of MH running the show and everyone just trying to please her and go along with what she says.

Benson has made a few mistakes in her career (like covering for her brother when he was on the run, when she should have turned him in). But Rollins.. I swear her character seems to be thick headed with stupidity. To be fair, I don't believe it's the actress, I believe it's simply the character. The actress herself (Kelli Giddish) I think is rather talented, as I've seen her in something else and her character wasn't anything like Rollins. Too bad, as the actress is now 'tied' to the character, so you get rid of the character and you can't really have the actress back as another character without there being some confusion to the viewers. She should just be shipped to Chicago P.D. She'd fit in great there. Meanwhile, transfer Marina Squerciati (aka Officer Kim Burgess) to SVU. Would be a major improvement.

She obviously made some kind of plea deal with the DA and then charmed the parole board into releasing her. She should be going to jail for a lot longer but the writers want her around because SVU is centered around the family drama of Benson and Rollins

LOL, that sounds about right. There is not logical for Rollins to let her history back in to her life. Doubly so when she has BABY now. But at this point the best part of this show is coming here and talking about how crazy it has gotten.

Honestly, i think its pretty realistic the way Rollins acts. many people have a blind spot when it comes to family no matter what they do. ive got a cousin whos 47 years old and is pretty much a career criminal now, yet his mother and others still make excuses for him. i find him to be a worthless loser who used up all his chances but others dont see it that way. Rollins sees it as "Kim is my sister and i have to help her", regardless of how many times shes screwed her over.

Exactly, it doesn't matter. Some people do have blind spots when it comes to family members but it doesn't matter, Rollins is stupid for letting her sister live with her and the fact that she has a baby just shows that Rollins is a horrible mother for letting her sociopath sister stay with the baby.
I am now thinking that they are going to make Kim into a sympathetic character because all females are sympathetic and have been wronged by men according to MH now and so I don't know if Mariska would allow them to do a story where a female is the main criminal and so they will probably go against all canon and make Kim into a sympathetic victim wronged by all men and only Benson and Rollins will see the truth and they can all be feminist heroes. This show is pathetic now. It has been taken over by Mariska and her preaching

And how Kim slipped the floutist a roofie, but she did a trick roll instead of hopping on for a ride, so it's not SVU's problem that he, drugged by a third party, committed a sex crime. A crime he would not have committed had Kim not drugged him.
