Think about it. Her father seems to want revenge against Carly. Carly destroyed Tony's marriage to Bobbie. Bobbie cheated on Tony with Damian, so Nelle would be angry with Bobbie. Joss said BJ was part of her family even though they are not blood relatives, just like Nelle. Tony had dealings with Helena, so she might have saved or revived him after his monkey virus death.
It may seem like a long shot, but Frank Valentini brought back Peter Harrell and rewrote his past for no particular reason.

They have enough bad ideas, please.

The BJ heart transplant storyline was one of GHs best stories. No offense, but that would be an awful idea. I would stop watching if that happened.

Well Nelle said it was the anniversary of her father's death the other day. Tony died on February 10, 2006. That's a little too close for my comfort.

I really don't think this is where they're headed and I would hate it if it is. BJ Jones and even Tony Jones are sacred stories for me. Do Not Touch!

Granted, supposedly Tony didn't sleep with Rita when she came to Port Charles but I would buy Rita over Nelle being BJ

Well, to be fair, Charlotte's convoluted paternity notwithstanding, this creative team has tended to focus on more realistic and believable stories than in the past. I don't see them trying to resurrect BJ. That's just not the kind of story that they specialize in.
