Definitely. It's one of the things that made this movie unrealistic.

Madison is "actual, real-world beautiful," i.e., "guys-who-like-girls beautiful."

Amy has a "Hollywood/fashion-industry look," which most real-world guys don't find attractive at all.

That's the fatal flaw of this movie. Maybe a high school guy picks the GF over Madison, but once you grow out of girls who look 15 (which includes 90% of men over the age of 18), this was a no-brainer. I'm not saying he was right for cheating, but be real.

This was a lot like Oblivion to me. I think we're supposed to think the wife is way hotter than the redhead fake wife from his base.

Amy: I swear to GodI swear to God! That is NOT how you treat your human!

Why would Madison pick Ben when his friend had a way better bod?

I wanted to say Thank You to everyone who posted on this and yes I won't forget the OP.

I actually was starting to "believe" humanity was losing taste when I read some threads a few years ago that kept saying, "Amy" was hotter and I kept saying howwwwwwwwwwwwww ??? In which way shape or form, except for possibly being bones and looking like a future librarian.

Some things I shall share. Erika is not a good, but "great" actress that never ever made it big in Hollywoodas I thought she would have; considering her acting in the masterpiece - Traffic.

Ever since that movie, I saw something special about her, as her range for acting. I also started dating/flirting with a chick who favored Erika, big time. When people talk about "Madison" had such a big butt andddddd your point being ? Only "un-masculine" men like no beehinds. The girl I used to see, had a big butt just like Madison's too. When people say, "Oh she looked fat, here and there"; sooooooooo ? Point being ? I may have some posts or a blog I made for the "resemblance" between the 2 girls. So am I slightly crazy over the actress "Erika Christensen", possibly due to how much she favors my "ex".

Both Amy & Madison were beautiful young women!
Madison looked hotter though. when she was slimmer. Her weight fluctuates wildly here. For example: Look at her face when they first go to the diner. It is chubby. But when she is kissing Josh in the car, she is slimmer.

And yes, some people prefer thin women some prefer heavier ones.
There's nothing wrong with that. That's why there's so many different looking women (and men) in the world!

In my opinion Amy is the more attractive of the two. One reason I watched this movie is because it has Shiri Appleby.

She was also a damn psycho.

This is all personal preference. I found Madison completely off-putting. While her body was more womanly, her jawline was very manly. Amy is more dainty and her face was more pleasing to look at. Plus she wasn't bat *beep* crazy.
