Sanford and Son : Does Esther not have a church house to go to?

Does Esther not have a church house to go to?

In so many episodes Esther and her friends are always wanting to use Fred's house to have a bible meeting, and usually the reason is b/c they can't use the usual woman's house that Sunday.

Did they not have a church house to meet in?

I wondered that, I gave it up the fact maybe Woodrow was in a drunken mess all the time, and maybe Esther didn't wanna have her church friends there lol

I just always assumed that Esther was always trying to bring religion to Fred because she viewed him as evil sinner. I just thought she was trying to bless the Sanford home.

She did seem like a bit like a door-to-door preacher, didn't she?

Say, did any episodes ever show Esther's home? That would have been cool.

They showed her spartment when Woody is drunk & she has to get Fred to play him when the adoption lady comes by. Woody is in the bedroom drunk while Fred tries to play Esther's husband.
