The Twilight Zone : Has the marathon always been 3 days?

Has the marathon always been 3 days?

I thought it was only 2 days long?

Re: Has the marathon always been 3 days?

Sounds like a question for The Mystic Seer lol. It depends, it can be one to three days, you just never know.

“Willoughby, sir? That’s Willoughby right outside. It’s July. It’s summer. It’s 1888.”

Re: Has the marathon always been 3 days?

No.

Its different nearly every time.

1,1 1/2, 2 and 3 days.

Prolly depends on what else SYFY wants to show, if anything, during 7-5 and then 1-2.

Re: Has the marathon always been 3 days?

Some are longer than others, depending on when New Year's & the Fourth of July fall. Also depends on Syfy's mood. Last NY's was 5 days cuz of them running all the eps

Re: Has the marathon always been 3 days?

I like the channel devoting that much time to a show that could have been abandoned to MeTv.

Re: Has the marathon always been 3 days?

i'd guess the 2nd being the federal holiday was a factor in making the marathon three days. I also think the marathon itself is becoming kind of a NYE/NYD tradition.

Growing up with KTKA 5 here in LA, we used to have one on the 4th of July as well as Thanksgiving. But then beginning in 1995 they lost the rights to TZ to SyFy. But now KTLA shows it in Thanksgiving but it's usually from maybe 9 am to 6 pm.
