American Horror Story : OT: Omg, omg, omg, Split.

OT: Omg, omg, omg, Split.

Go see it. Especially if you're a fan of his first few movies.

Twist in spoilers, you've been warned:

Split is secretly a super villain origin story set in the UNBREAKABLE UNIVERSE. SPLIT IS UNBREAKABLE 2!!!!!!!

Less than forget. But more than begun.

Re: OT: Omg, omg, omg, Split.

I didn't read the spoiler so I'm going to guess. It the twist that the movie actually sucks?

Re: OT: Omg, omg, omg, Split.

Nope! The twist was so amazing it had people in my theater audibly gasping and throwing their hands up in the air.

Re: OT: Omg, omg, omg, Split.

Well I'm sold.

Re: OT: Omg, omg, omg, Split.

I was looking around bloody-disgusting.com and saw their list of most anticipated 2017 (announced) horror films. A lot of it consisted of remakes, reboots, and what looked like general mediocrity.

What's funny about Split is that when I first saw the preview, I saw James McAvoy doing what looked to be an incredible job, and a minor part from one of my more recent crushes. Sold. Then "from director M. Night Shyamalan." Okay, not quite sold. The more I thought about how neat it would be to see McAvoy in the part, though, the more I thought that I'd like to see it for that. I don't go to theatres anymore, but it's definitely in mind.

On a side note, I don't know if McAvoy is going to play a female personality as good as John Lithgow did.

Every time you interrupt someone, your penis gets a little shorter!

Re: OT: Omg, omg, omg, Split.

I HAVE TO WAIT 3 DAYS TILL IT COMES OUT

Re: OT: Omg, omg, omg, Split.

So is M Night back on form? He really fell off his perch for a while there, especially with that steaming pile of dung After Earth.

Re: OT: Omg, omg, omg, Split.

Sixth Sense/Unbreakable/Signs were amazing.

The Village/Lady in the Water were really good.

Devil was fairly good.

The Happening/After Earth/The Last Airbender were god awful.

But then he made The Visit, which was pretty decent (and really scary).

And now he's back to his old amazing self with Split

Re: OT: Omg, omg, omg, Split.

I loved 6th sense, Signs, The Village, LitW. Havent seen TH or tLA. Don;t think I've seen TV so might give that a go while waiting for Split.

The only good thing about After Earth was jeremy jahns hilarious reviewor was it the honest trailer? Probably both.

Re: OT: Omg, omg, omg, Split.

Yesssss someone ruined the surprise but I still want to see it. Was also reading a list of possible ways other movies are connected and which characters could return via a legit UB2, would be down if it came to be. Also, I dug devil, not so much a fan of the village but that's because I called the twist about 20 min in
