American Horror Story : It's a follow up to My Roanoke Nightmare

It's a follow up to My Roanoke Nightmare

Remember how the first five episodes said "My Roanoke Nightmare?" Now we're at "Return to Roanoke." It's a follow up; not the real actors reliving their experiences. This is all staged. The cameras will pull back in the tenth episode and show the set.

Re: It's a follow up to My Roanoke Nightmare

Why do people keep coming up with this theory? Do you really need for this to be fake or staged? I don't get it?

Re: It's a follow up to My Roanoke Nightmare

Right after Jackson'a character's colleague was killed by the Pigman in her car, there was follow up information on the screen. Producers obviously put them up to it and know what they're doing. Why else would they put that fact in if it weren't another meta series?

Re: It's a follow up to My Roanoke Nightmare

Maybe because that's really how it happened? And we really are supposed to be watching found footage of a show that they were going to make but it never aired because all of the participants died in the making of it?

Re: It's a follow up to My Roanoke Nightmare

In reality, it would never make it on the air. No cable station would subject viewers to real-like torture as such.

Re: It's a follow up to My Roanoke Nightmare

I had thought about that. People are increasingly more accepting of violence and gore on TV and other media. Maybe they saw after how well-received MRN was, and how interested the public were in the mysterious circumstances of the disappearance and/or deaths of so many people involved n the making of the follow up show, they decided to air the found footage anywaydespite is graphic contentand let the public decide for themselves what they believe?

I think the 10th and final episode is going to be one last reality show. Something similar to Dr. Phil's interview with Burke Ramsey. It's possible that the Lana Winters character is being brought back to be the person hosting the show, and conducting interviews. Possibly with the survivor, if there ends up being one. Or maybe with the real Flora, since she's the only person involved in this whole thing that we haven't actually heard from.

Re: It's a follow up to My Roanoke Nightmare

To be fair, we have seen multiple people get physically tortured, not to mention get their heads stabbed and smashed and their throats slit.

Sidney would have to pay all those actors a literal assload to agree to that sort of thing (assuming he knew what he was getting them into) which is pretty hard to believe, even for this show!

I mean there is no reasonable way to completely fake that. Kathy Bates literally got her head sliced in two for Christ's sakes!

Don't get me wrong, I've been loving this season and I apologize if it seems like I'm ranting, but I think it would be a huge cop out to the viewers as well as illogial in the show for it all to be staged.

Re: It's a follow up to My Roanoke Nightmare

Don't forget Murphy said this season is broken into three parts. 1: My Roanoke Nightmare; 2: Return to Roanoke; 3: ? The tenth episode is going to be its own entity.

Unless, since Lana Winters is returning, she interviews the one survivor.
