The Bachelor : Oh lawd, I'm siding with Corrine

Taylor is a nasty person (based on what I've seen) - Corrine is a "villain" but she is like "Chad-Lite" to me - tells it like it is. It's so weird to me that every season several girls fixate on the villain and lose focus of why they are really there.

But Taylor was right. Corinne has no emotional intelligence or self awareness. Any person with either of those skills would know that she was rubbing people the wrong way. Corinne keeps saying she wants people to tell her when they have a problem with her. Taylor does that and then Corinne becomes a baby. Kristina does it and gives concrete examples and Corinne walks away. Could Taylor have done it better? Yeah, but that doesnt make what she says less true.

I totally agree that Corinne shows little self-awareness and emotional intelligence. From what I've seen though (we don't know what all is happening because of editing) I've not seen her be mean or trash talk the other women. Sitting out the manure shoveling was the first time she didn't participate. As for napping, maybe it's my illness speaking but just sitting there for hours drinking with the other girls - if I were kept up all night for a rose ceremony, I'd be napping too.

I've never been a fan of the "villain" before but for some reason Corinne doesn't bother me as much.

Its not the napping that bothered them so much as how it made it look like she thought she was above everyone else. If everyone else has to stay up and do the whole cocktail party, you could at least try to stay awake and at the very least attend the rose ceremony. i think that was the straw that broke the camel's back regarding her.

I dont think the term villian fits her so much as immature. She isn't evil or mean, just really stupid and obnoxious.

Its an interesting question. Its possible producers never went and got her but I also don't think it would have angered as many people if no one tried. I'd love for that to come out in an interview.

Well, Nick wanted a girl willing to push herself out of her comfort zone. Corinne flat out refused to because she's been pampered her whole life! That is probably why they were upset at her.

My money is on Taylor going home. She is so unpleasant.

I was amazed that she is in the mental health field! She did nothing constructive in her convo with Corinne - just told her what she perceived Corinne as lacking - and it was done in a condescending manner IMO.

I'm not. Most psych majors I met in college were all their own brand of crazy. I'm no fan of Corinne, but Taylor doesn't seem much better to me.

There was a running joke at my university that psych majors choose psychology because they basically get free therapy.

Can't stand her after tonight, and I see no chemistry with her and Nick. She's catty and whiny.

That's what I thought too. Taylor is only 23. She's not a seasoned therapist yet but she does have a heart for it. It sounded like she was quoting a textbook but I think she really sees Corrine like a client or patient. It just didn't go over very well.

As weird as it is I was siding with Corinne too. Taylor is really judgmental and condescending. I don't see any chemistry with Nick. Corinne is definitely whiny and immature no doubt, but she was able to hold her own against the girls and honestly handled it pretty well. I don't believe she has trash talked anyone before Taylor. Corinne is also drunk AF every episode which may be part of the reason LOL. TBH, the girls are just jealous of her being she makes out with Nick and isn't afraid to get noticed by him.

They are both horrible. Anyone with high "emotional intelligence" would know better than to engage in the petty crap Corrine was pulling. If you think she's so obviously immature, then have faith that Nick is mature and smart enough to figure it out for himself eventually, and let the girl dig her own grave. And if you really feel that a 36-year-old man isn't smart enough to figure out the "manipulations" of a 24-year-old brat with a nanny, why do think he's such a catch in the first place?

Honestly, the fact that she's still around says more about how seriously Nick is taking this than anything else. Be pissed at him, and question his actions to his face. That was the one thing Vanessa did right. Corrine is inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Nick is the one who has the obligation to be respectful to the other girls. But all the others act as if Corrine is some manipulative mastermind and Nick is an innocent victim. He's been on some version of this show three times already. He's fully aware of how it works and he knows what constitutes disrespectful behaviour.
