There's no way that it's chronological. It makes a LOT of sense if you re-order the timeline, and NO sense otherwise.

*SPOILERS*
There are two flashback episodes in the series' 10 episode season, used to better explain the fictional characters present day situations. i.e. Tommy's involvement with the reoccuring "woman in red", Francois's connection to Bergstrom, and the Maggie/Gail relationship. Bought the dvd set a while back, never gave it my full attention. It's a grueling show to keep up with but I have to say upon a second watch this show has created a new genre that is in direct response to the growing number of "reality" television shows. The plotlines and acting are infinitly more "reality" based than MTV's Real World

yeah, it's interesting, but I can see why they didn't continue it there are reasons why some people are actors and others are not sometimes James Carville and that lady are uncomfortable to watch in that they seem somewhat self-conscious about the fictionality of it

In your words, "Your response is closed minded and not very open minded."

The whole Bergstrom/Lowell office construction scenario is weirdly out of sequence
maggie-gail plot shown out of order… (spoilers?)
I didn't understand until the last episode, that the Maggie-Gail plotline seems to be shown out of order. First you see Maggie calling Gail and getting no reply, then you see the fight at the cafe and then it skips backwards, right? back to a time when they are going out then there is the guy who comes and says to stop calling and then there's the sort of heterosexual love interest (sort of), i.e. that guy who she talks to at these big cocktail bar thingies and then we see Maggie and Gail going out again, Maggie tells Gail that she loves her, Gail gets weird and then fast forward all the way to the end, when Gail calls after all the restraining order stuff, and asks for Maggie's forgiveness.
End of plotline.
End of series.
We have no idea what happens next.
What a strange show! So many unresolved plotlines. Weiiiiiird.
A question: Is any other stuff shown out of order, or just that?
