Freddy vs. Jason : Pro Jason Bias

Pro Jason Bias

Man, Freddy got shafted.

Re: Pro Jason Bias

Yeah but I think it was the obvious way to go. Better to root for an undead child than an undead child molester

Re: Pro Jason Bias

Yeah, pretty much. Jason was really a victim out for vengeance. Freddy was just a creep out for vengeance.

Re: Pro Jason Bias

They felt that there had to be one character that you felt an emotional connection to. They knew if there was a clear cut "winner" they would alienate one fan group. The intention was not to favor Jason.

Even among those who worked on the film there is a wide difference of opinion in who "won". Most think Jason won, a couple said they "think" Freddy won but I agree with the guy (sorry forget who it was :() who said "I think Jason won the fight but the war isn't over yet".

Re: Pro Jason Bias

Are you high? Jason got his ass kicked - twice in this movie. It was especially ridiculous during the second fight, in which he apparently knew kung fu.

Re: Pro Jason Bias

Jason won. Freddy didn't have any more sequels.

This is one of the stupidest things I've ever read on this site.

Re: Pro Jason Bias

I'm re-visiting this board for the first time in over a decade, but I used to come here regularly when Freddy vs Jason was originally released, because back then it was one of the funniest places on the 'net, as all the die-hard Freddy fans desperately tried to re-interpret the ending in numerous non-nonsensical ways so that their man won. Bizarrely, they didn't have a problem with Freddy being beaten by various teenage girls in the Elm Street movies, but couldn't comprehend that he might lose in a fight against an unstoppable hockey-masked engine of destruction.

Equally amusing was the Freddy fans getting incensed when anyone described him as being a child-molester. Apparently they thought it was okay to worship a fictitious character who abducts, terrorizes, tortures and mutilates children, but suggest that he also sexually interfered with his victims and his fans would get incredibly offended.

Re: Pro Jason Bias

^ Nothing beats the Trekkie social experiment where a nerd supposedly Vulcan-nerve-pinched a Jason fan over an argument here.

Re: Pro Jason Bias

Does no one remember that? SERIOUSLY?! *beep* I'm old.

Re: Pro Jason Bias

When the hell did a child killing d-bag like Jason become a saint

When we're thinking about our own brain, would that be a mental paradox??

Re: Pro Jason Bias

Jason became a saint when he killed for our sins.

Thit and thpin!

Re: Pro Jason Bias

When compared to Freddy?

Re: Pro Jason Bias

That's true. As much as I love Freddy, it's definitely a lot harder to feel an emotional connection to him when compared to Jason. Hell, even the remake tried to make us feel sympathetic for Freddy in the flashbacks and it felt so weird.

Re: Pro Jason Bias

Not really. Freddy's supernatural and prays on fear.

Fear runs from Jason.

It was never a fair fight to begin with. Besides, if this film has the same Jason from the 2009 reboot, the whole fight at the end finishes the moment Freddy's pulled out of Lori's dream.

Re: Pro Jason Bias

jason had freddy's head at the end. nevermind that he blinked, that was just fan service.

I hated Jaws, it had too much shark, and dont get me started about King Kong, waaay too much gorilla

Re: Pro Jason Bias

I'm with you, Jason ruled Freddy.

And what fresh Hell is this?, Malory from Archer(Dorothy Parker)
