The Jerk : Dumb and Dumber

I think Dumb and Dumber was inspired by this movie.

At least the behavioral part of Steve Martins character.

Of course anyone can act like an idiot, it's not hard

In a way, it's kind of like Forrest Gump.


I'm just expressing my opinion.

You may all go to hell, and I will go to Texas.

No doubt influenced a whole bunch of film-makers and the movies they put together.

It's not rocket science to put an idiot in a movie really. Hardly genius.
