Kill Bill: Vol. 2 : Do you think that if Elle knew Beatrix was still alive …

Do you think that if Elle knew Beatrix was still alive …

... she would still have put a poisonous snake in the suitcase full of money she gave to Bud?

She was angry that Bud apparently had killed her, because she had a low opinion of him and said 'that woman deserved better.'

Or did she want to kill him anyway so that she could keep the sword AND the money?

Re: Do you think that if Elle knew Beatrix was still alive …

I've wondered the same thing, and I've come to the conclusion that it was a bit of both.

Re: Do you think that if Elle knew Beatrix was still alive …

I know that snakes are venomous and not poisonous, but that's about it.

That was her strategy. She used the money to get closer to Budd. Budd used the opportunity to get rich cuz he needed to retire from being a bouncer at a topless bar. He just got basically fired from his job btw.

Elle wanted to frame Bea for Budd's death and make herself appear the hero in the situation after telling Bill that she avenged him by killing Bea.

Bill told Elle not to kill Bea while she was sleeping because I think Bill knew Elle's type of fight style. So Elle had to wait for the right moment.

That moment was perfect. I liked how that entire situation happened in the movie. It's one of the main reasons I like Vol 2 slightly more than I liked Vol 1.
